SculpSure® is a form of laser fat removal that is quick and convenient when compared to surgical alternatives. It is a non-invasive procedure that uses light-based technology to remove unwanted fat cells. As fat cells become detached from surrounding tissue, the body will naturally absorb them, creating a slimmer, firmer appearance. General anesthesia or local anesthesia is not needed during your SculpSure® procedure. A topical numbing cream is used. Additionally, SculpSure® comes equipped with cooling technology to make sure you are comfortable during your procedure.
WHO SHOULD CONSIDER USING SCULPSURE®?
SculpSure® can treat areas that seem impossible to shape through just diet and exercise. If you lead a healthy lifestyle but still have areas that you would like to slim and contour, SculpSure® can help. While the results from SculpSure® can be significant, they should not be a substitute for diet and exercise. Patients will ideally have a body mass index of 30 or less when they undergo their SculpSure® procedure. WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER UNDERGOING SCULPSURE®?
There may be some mild bruising, tenderness, and swelling after your SculpSure® procedure. These symptoms will typically subside within a few days. Patients can continue their normal day-to-day activities after receiving SculpSure® treatment. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle after receiving SculpSure® treatment. While SculpSure® can deliver excellent results, patients that don’t exercise, eat a balanced diet, and fail to maintain a healthy lifestyle after treatment may not obtain the long-term results they were looking for.
